My experience at Riverside Resort was a mixed bag. While I loved the proximity to Whistler and nearby spa, I was disappointed with the campsite cleanliness and noise issues. On the upside, the staff were very friendly and the amenities like the bathrooms were well-maintained.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a yurt which was spacious and clean, but I did notice some cobwebs and dust in corners that were a bit off-putting. The layout was nice for my family, though.
Service
7.0
The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, but there were moments when they were unable to effectively resolve our concerns.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, very close to Whistler Village and the Scandinave Spa, making it easy for day trips.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were limited and could be more appetizing, which was somewhat disappointing given the surroundings.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like the restrooms and laundry were well-kept, but I felt some additional attention to cleanliness at the campsites could go a long way.

My stay at Riverside Resort was a mix of highlights and disappointments. I loved the great location, especially being close to the Scandinave Spa and the scenic paths to Whistler village. However, the facilities could definitely use some improvement, particularly the cleanliness of the shared bathrooms which left much to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a cabin that was spacious enough for four, complete with a kitchenette and a TV. But I found it tricky to navigate with a wheelchair, and there was no proper place to hang coats, which was odd. It would have been nice to have more towels available, especially with a cold floor.
Service
5.0
The staff I encountered were mostly pleasant and helpful, though I felt like my feedback about the cleanliness issue was ignored. I also noticed some miscommunication regarding the washroom codes.
Location
9.0
The scenic location near Whistler and the proximity to outdoor activities was fantastic. It offered a peaceful environment, surrounded by nature, which was perfect for enjoying the area.
Dining
7.0
While I enjoyed the meals at the onsite Thai restaurant, the options were quite limited. I found the food to be quite delicious, but I wished there were more variety.
Facilities
5.0
The overall facilities had the potential to be great, but the cleanliness, especially of the bathrooms, was a significant concern. I expected better given the price I paid for my stay.

I had a pretty decent stay at Riverside Resort, but it wasn't without its issues. The area was surrounded by beautiful trees, and I appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities. However, the staff could have been friendlier, and the dining options were quite limited, which was a letdown. Overall, it was a solid experience, but there's definitely room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
I stayed in one of the camping yurts and found it to be cozy and well-equipped, but it could really use a kettle for morning coffee. The sky light was super bright, so I recommend bringing an eye mask if you're sensitive to light. Overall, it was clean and had all the essentials but could have used a touch more comfort.
Service
6.0
While the staff were helpful, the overall vibe felt a bit unfriendly. I really hoped for better service given the resort's corporate background. It would also be nice if they could enforce rules around noise from party sites a bit better.
Location
8.0
The location is quiet and peaceful but conveniently close to Whistler Village, where I could easily walk to get around. It's a lovely area with beautiful scenery that adds to the whole experience.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were sparse and not very appetizing. I was expecting something a bit more exciting for meals, but what I found was pretty uninspired. It would have been nice to have at least some standard breakfast items available.
Facilities
6.0
The resort had decent amenities, including laundry services and access to bike trails. However, the showers came with a fee, which felt like a bummer for the price I paid for a night.

7.2/10

My stay at Riverside Resort was enjoyable overall. The location was perfect for accessing Whistler village, just a short walk away. However, I encountered some inconveniences with the facilities. The service from the staff was excellent, specifically Ian, who was very accommodating. While the campsite had its charm, some areas could use better maintenance.

Rooms
6.0
The yurt I stayed in had great outdoor space, but I noticed it was in need of a dusting. Cobwebs were everywhere, and some of my clothes got covered in dust from behind the bed.
Service
9.0
The staff were very helpful, especially Ian, who offered great tips on where to go. and Gina at the desk was warm and welcoming.
Location
9.0
It's wonderfully close to Whistler village, which made it easy for me to explore. The walk was quite pleasant, illuminated at night.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options limited, and the ones available were not very appetizing. It would be nice to see more variety.
Facilities
5.0
While the washroom facilities were clean and well-maintained, the closure of some areas for cleaning was inconvenient, especially at night. I experienced long lines due to crowding.
